Denver Smith, 90, Harris, MO (formerly of Chariton, Iowa) passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 at his home.

He was born May 21, 1930 in Buzzard Holler near Barbersville, Kentucky the son of Hugh and Hilda (Jordan) Smith.

Denver, at age 11 worked as a cashier in Detroit, MI while his mother worked for Boeing Aircraft. He lived off and on for 45 years in California. He had many talents working as a painter, contractor, a security person for a record company, a movie stunt man and a licensed auctioneer. He served as a United States Marine during the Korean War.

On October 5, 1988, he married Charlotte Campbell. She survives of the home.

Denver was preceded in death by his parents; children, Melissa Smith, Latonya Smith, Austain Smith and 4 brothers, Ovie Jordan, Ciecel Smith, Earl Smith and Hersal Smith.

Survivors in addition to his wife, Charlotte, are his children, Shree Wilson of Connersville, IN, Robert Smith of Los Angeles, CA, Penny Drew of Gainsville, TX, Star Hetzroni of South Carolina, Shasta Pittman of Ames, IA, Bruce Smith of Los Angeles, CA, Tythene Barnes of Myrtle Beach, SC, Gordan Smith and Nevada Smith both of Los Angeles, CA, Natasha Williams of San Luis Obispo, CA and Corry Jo (Carl) Maddox of Humphreys, MO and step-children, Terrie Palmisano of Phoenix, AZ, Jerry Holmes of Ontario, OR and Lorrie Dolan of Harris, MO; 35 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
