CARNEGIE At her Rosslyn Farms Home, with her sons by her side, on Wednesday October 17, 2007, Annah Margaret (Cole) Doak, 86, passed away. Born on August 22, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Joseph H. and Josephine (Willis) Cole. She was the beloved wife of the late George Foster Doak, Sr.; dear mother of G. Foster (Pat) Doak, Jr., of York and Dennis Cole Doak of Rosslyn Farms; grandmother of Dr. Denise (Erik) Doak Ekstrom of Ellicott City, Md.; great-grandmother of Anna Katherine and Andrew Foster Ekstrom; special aunt of Anne (John) Horn of West Chester; sister of Dr. Joseph W. Cole of Dubois, and the late Samuel H. and Howard Clifford Cole; and sister-in-law of Helen Doak Wilson of Johnstown, Ohio. She was active in the Rosslyn Farms community, serving as the Rosslyn Farms Women's Club president, and in her church, Carnegie United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir with her husband for many years. She marched in Rosslyn Farms' 4th of July parades and many Pittsburgh area parades with her husband dressed as Uncle Sam and Aunt Sammie. There will be a memorial service at Carnegie United Methodist Church, 415 Washington Ave., Carnegie, PA 15106 on Saturday, October 27, 2007, at 10 a.m. She will be inured with her late husband in Arlington National Cemetery at her family's convenience.
