Obituary for Robert Watts
DEACON ROBERT “BOBBY” SHERMAN WATTS- Age, 85 of Canton, GA passed away Sunday, February 14, 2021. He was born August 12, 1935 to the late Talmadge and Violet Harden Watts. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force Reserve and a deacon of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, J.T. Watts, daughters, Sonya Annette Watts Jones and Eleanor Victoria “Vickie” Watts.

He is survived by his loving family, wife of 64 years, Elma B. Watts; Darlene (Scotty) Ogletree, Arlene (Terry) Bronson, and Denise (Michael) Gay; grandchildren, Christie White, Carla Vines, Carmen Cox, Ryan Watts, and Terence Bronson; sisters-in-law, Linda Watts, Mitch Brown, Annette Gordon, and Jane Butler; brother-in-law, Harry Butler; special cousins, Evelyn Strickland and Sandra Harden; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Following the guidelines of COVID-19, the family is enforcing that all attendees wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Homegoing Service will be Friday, February 19, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 131 Mill St, Woodstock, GA 30188, with Pastor Elington Bates as Eulogist. Walkthrough Visitation will be Thursday, February 18, 2021 from 5:00-7:30 P.M. at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church’s vestibule fund. Interment at Olivine Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Willis Funeral Home, Inc.
