GRIFFIN- With heavy hearts the parents of Scott Norman Griffin 45, of Fredericksburg VA., announce his passing unexpectedly on February 8, 2021 in Plattsburgh, NY.

Scott leaves behind his beloved parents, Mrs. (Ned) Brenda Durgan-Macbryde of Spotsylvania, VA., and Norman E. Griffin of Fredericksburg VA (both parents formerly of Moira, NY), and beloved son, Elisha P. Griffin of Fredericksburg, VA.
Scott was born September 26, 1975 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, VA., and was baptized as a child at St. Mary’s Brushton, NY and later as an adult at Maranatha Bible Church of Constable NY. He graduated in 1994 from Chancellor High School and later attended Germanna Community College in Fredericksburg VA. He played baseball, basketball and football in local community & received may trophies. Scott continued loving to watch & play sports.
Scott worked heavy construction, driving pan truck for 10 years, landscaping, cooking and handyman jobs for family and friends. Scott loved traveling between NY. & VA. to spend time visiting with family and friends. He liked fishing on the riverbank or by boat, just being in nature. He loved to cook and especially loved going out for “Chinese food” & “seafood”. Scott was always so caring, thoughtful, and loving. He enjoyed making people happy & laugh. His pride and joy was his son, Elisha whom he loved playing basket-ball, 4 wheeling & many sporting activities. Scott will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
