Meredith Ellen Roberts (86) was born in Adams, NE, to Clarence Edwin and Clara Horton (Overton) Hoover. She was the youngest of 10 children. She married her husband, John Roberts, in the 1980's.
She worked as a Nurse's Aid in the neonatal unit at Saint Elizabeth's for 35 years. After her retirement, Meredith and John loved to travel, including to Europe, the Caribbean, and many other places. Exploring the sights of a new and exciting place was their favorite part. From when she was younger, to the later years of her life, Meredith was always a caregiver and loved to take care of her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband, Dwight, 2nd husband, John; daughter, Deborah; and all brothers and sisters.
She is survived by 3 sons, Bill, Jeff, and Rick; 7 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Private family funeral service will be held Monday, February 22, 2021, 10:00 am, at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. 6800 S. 14th St., Lincoln, NE. Interment will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park.
