Stephen M. Gibson, 65, passed away February 15, 2021, at his home in Great Bend. He was born August 29, 1955, at Emporia, to Don & Delores (Langley) Gibson. He married Susan Evers April 29, 2001, at Great Bend.

Coming from Emporia in 1970, Stephen was a Great Bend resident. He worked for GBI as a machinist for 25 years. Stephen was a member of First Bible Baptist Church and Sons of the American Legion. He loved to tell jokes and especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Randy Gibson.

Visitation will be held from Noon to 9:00 p.m., Friday, February 19, 2021 at Bryant Funeral Home, with family to receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 20, 2021, at First Bible Baptist Church in Great Bend, with Reverend Tim Patrick presiding. Interment will be in Great Bend Cemetery North, with Military Rites conducted by the United States Navy. Memorials have been designated to First Bible Baptist Church or RSVP/Volunteers in Action, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
