Judy Kay Humphreys, 51, of Gatesville, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2007, at a local nursing center. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, October 19, at Scott's Funeral Home.The funeral procession will leave from Scott's Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, October 20, at Live Oak Cemetery.
Judy was born in Stamps, Arkansas, to the late Herbert Rook and Julia Beth Kuykendall Rook. She received her Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice from Central Texas College and worked at the Hilltop Unit of TDCJ.
Survivors include her step-father, Floyd Williams; daughter, Jennifer Davies; son, Travis Humphreys; and brothers, John Rook, Clayton Williams, Rickie Williams and Scott Williams.
