William Leighton “Junie” Beasley, 66, died at home unexpectedly on January 30, 2021. A native of Portsmouth, VA, he was predeceased by his father William Leighton Beasley Sr. and his mother Alice Johnson Beasley.
William was a 1974 graduate of Western Branch high school, member of the R.O.T.C, a member of Lee Memorial Baptist Church as well as Portsmouth Moose Lodge 898. He was also a Licensed State Inspector for the Virginia State Police.
Survivors including his wife of forty five and a half years, Delores “Vickey” White Beasley; a son William “Will” J. Beasley (Angie); a sister Nina B Walling (Hoyt) of Marietta, GA; a brother James P. “J.P.” Beasley (Angela) of Edenton, N.C.; two grandchildren, Cheyenne and Anthony Beasley of Portsmouth, VA, and many nieces and nephews.
