Ronnie was born in High Point on October 21, 1943, a son of the late Rufus Eldridge Mitchell and Mary Elizabeth McMillian Mitchell.
He retired from Mobil Chemical and then worked at the Oak Hollow Tennis Center.
Ronnie loved the beach, shopping, and never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Mitchell.
Surviving is his life partner and friend, Sharon Atkins.
