James "Skipper" Teague, of Woodstock, GA, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, February 14, 2021 at the age of 73. Skipper was born July 24, 1947 in Marietta, GA to the late James H. and Ruth Teague.

He grew up as the eldest of three and attended Sprayberry High School. Immediately after graduation, Skipper enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served during the Vietnam War as a medical assistant. He went on to work for four decades as an operating room technician in Georgia, Vermont, California, and lastly Florida where he retired from Bay Medical Center in Panama City.

Skipper is survived by his daughter Stacey Teague; son Joel (Kelly) Teague; grandchildren Tiffany (Taylor) Horne, Josiah (Moriah) Teague, Caleb Teague, Cassidy Teague, and Jude Teague; brother Rhett (Lynn) Teague; sister Sandy Freeman; and four great-grandchildren.

Skipper was buried at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery.
