Minnie Ann Anderson, 84, of Meridian, died Sunday, Sept. 12, 1993, in a Boise hospital of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 16, at the Chapel of the Chimes, Meridian. The Revs. Evert and Kent Roberts of Meridian Gospel Tabernacle will officiate with rites by the Order of the Eastern Star #66. Burial will follow in Terrace Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Minnie was born on May 28, 1909, at Blackfoot. Idaho. a daughter of John and Zona Abercrombie Cotton. As a young girl she lived in many places in Idaho.
She married Raema "Ray" Anderson in Riverside, Calif., on July 1, 1927. They moved to Eagle to farm in 1946, moving to Meridian in 1957.
She was a member of Gospel Tabernacle of Meridian, Order of Eastern Star #66. Rebekah Lodge, Meridian Occident Club, Amity Club, and Life Member of Treasure Valley Good Sam Chapter and National Good Sam.
She worked for J.C. Penneys, Rice Pharmacy, later Meridian Drug Center, and sales lady at the sugar beet factory. She and Ray traveled to Arizona in the winters for many years.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Lova June and Ray Pack of Meridian. and a son and daughter-in-law, Clarence W. "Smilie" and Virginia Anderson of Boise; grandchildren, Richard and Kathy Anderson, LuAnn and Mike Losh, Alan and DeAnn Pack, Marianne and Joel Hickman, Earle and Tracy Pack, Carol and Mark Clark; 11 great-grandchildren, Michael, Mark and Leslie Losh; Earlene and Erin Pack; Jacqueline Hickman; Cory Clark; Alexander, Adam and Eric Pack, and Andrea Nichol; two sisters, Edna Everett and Ella Faulk; numerous nieces and nephews; and dear friends, Elise Warren of Layton, Utah, and Ray and Bernice Johnson of Eagle, and many more. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray, two brothers and her parents.
The family suggests memorials be sent to Meridian Senior Center, 133 W. Broadway, Meridian, Idaho 83642, or to the Meridian Library, Idaho Street, Meridian Idaho 83642, or a favorite charity.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday at the Chapel of the Chimes, Meridian.
