SALISBURY - Stephen Froud Ramsey, age 55, of Salisbury, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at Carolinas Medical Center Northeast, Concord.
Stephen was born Nov. 20, 1958, in Beckley, W.Va., the son of the late Illet Mae Gravely and John Beard Ramsey. He attended Beckley, W.Va., schools. Mr. Ramsey worked for Gerdaev Ameristeel.
He loved riding motorcycles and his boxer dogs.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Leslie Yarrow Ramsey, who he married March 27, 1980; daughter Morgan Mauney (Brandon) of Salisbury; brothers Brent Ramsey from Kentucky, Lewis and Monty Ramsey from West Virginia; granddaughter Ivy Mauney.
Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Saturday, May 31 at Summersett Funeral Home.
Memorial Service: 7 p.m. Saturday, May 31 at Summersett Memorial Chapel conducted by Rev. Steve Holshouser.
