Virgie Hazel Murphy, 95, of Fayetteville; died Sunday, Feb. 14, 2021, at Brookstone Assisted Living.

She was born Monday, Aug. 17, 1925, in Witter to Clarence Amos and Anna Sarah Petree Jordan.

Virgie was mother to three children. She was employed for 42 years at Campbell Foods, where she worked on the production line. She enjoyed laughing, playing, and being with her family. She loved her violets and always had beautiful blooming plants in her home. She enjoyed her work and took great pride in doing a good job and perfect attendance.

Virgie was preceded in death by her parents; nine siblings, and one son, Eugene Jordan.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Dan Morgan of Fayetteville and Patty and Jack Herring of Lexington, S.C.; one daughter-in-law, Suzi Jordan of Sweet Home, Ore.; one brother, Earl Jordan of Wesley; 5 grandchildren, Kimberly and Cal Clarke of Mesa, Arizona; Michelle and John Welsh of Fayetteville; Mindy and Jared Kyzer of Lexington, S.C., Brandon and Amie Morgan of Huntsville and Matt and Brandy Jordan of Sweet Home, Ore.; seven great-grandchildren, Tyler and Ashli Stephens of Fayetteville, Ashley and Alex Dye of Fayetteville, Gabriel White of Mesa, Ariz., Jonah Kyzer and Micah Kyzer of Lexington, S.C., Jackson Morgan of Huntsville and Kenley Jordan of Sweet Home, Ore.; and one great-great-grandchild, Millie Stephens of Fayetteville.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021, at Ogden Cemetery with Lonnie Siler officiating.

Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
