CHESAPEAKE- Jennie Lee Miller, 77, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021.
She was born on May 29, 1943 in Norfolk, Virginia to the late, Wade Jackson Pendergraft and Lillie Mae Pendergraft.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters and her son-in-law, Cleve Caulder.
Jennie was known for her cooking and baking.
She was the former owner and operator of “The Breakfast Shoppe” in Great Bridge.
She was a member of Chesapeake Baptist Tabernacle.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas H. Miller; daughters, Tracy DeWald and her husband Marvin, Barbara Gallagos and her husband Rudy, and Tammy Caulder; sons, Bobby Lassiter, Robert Lassiter and his wife Gayle, and Tommy Lassiter and his wife Shannon; two brothers; thirteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 AM on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at the Sturtevant Funeral Home Portsmouth Blvd Chapel with Brother Ronnie Gurganus officiating.
Interment will be held privately at the Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veteran’s Cemetery.
