Earlene D. Lewis, 82 of Harrisburg, passed peacefully on August 26, 2012 in Harrisburg Hospital. She was affectionately known as "Grammy" to her family and "Momma Lou" to friends and throughout the community.

She retired from the Harrisburg School District as an Administrative Assistant, was the After School Director for several elementary schools, managed both Jackson Lick and Hall Manor pools, and a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church.

She leaves to celebrate her life and memory her children; Lelia (Bill) Fox of Alabama, Constance, David and Cheryl Lewis of Harrisburg, sisters Delores Allen and Andrea Henrey of Indiana, 8 grandchildren that she loved with all her heart; Adrienne, Jeunetta, Chudney, Jovoni, Kiana, Joshua, Bryanna and Chanan. Her three precious great-grand children; Rahsan, Malaya, Chayce, a host of relatives and friends.

Services will be held at Hooper Memorial Home on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at 11:00 a.m., viewing at 10:00 a.m. with burial in Paxtang Cemetery.
