Funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Lando Church of God, 3763 Eternal Way, Lando, SC with Pastor Ricky McManus and Pastor Jimmy Chappell officiating. Burial will follow in Lando Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm-3:00 pm on Tuesday prior to the service at the church.
Born in Chesterfield County, SC, Mr. Threatt was the son of the late Robert Wade Threatt and the late Alvanell Allen Threatt. He was also preceded in death by his son, Chad Eric Threatt and his sister, Janelle Thomas. He was retired from Thyssenkrupp Steel.
Mr. Threatt is survived by his wife, Malinda Powell Threatt; three sons, Robert (Heather) Leary of Fort Lawn, Joseph Dillard of Richburg, James H (Jessica) Threatt Jr. of Boiling Springs, SC; his daughter, Janel (OJ Mackey) Dillard of Richburg; his three brothers, Randall (Vera) Threatt, Ronnie (Becky) Threatt, Johnny (Denise) Threatt; two sisters, Elaine (JW) Langley, and Faye (Jimmy) Chappell; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; many nephew and nieces.
