Mr. Steven Vincent Stone, Jr., (Lil' Stevie), 32, of Boonsboro, Maryland, died suddenly on Wednesday, August 15, 2012.

Born November 23, 1979 in Frederick, Maryland, he was the son of Kathy Brubaker and the late Steven Vincent Stone, Sr. and his step-mother Kathy Stone of Jefferson.

Steve was a graduate of Frederick High School class of 1997. He was a master craftsman and he especially enjoyed spending time with his many friends, his dog "Copper" and "Kitty". In his youth he was active in BMX bike riding and bowling.

He is also survived by his sisters Angela Stone of Frederick and Brandy Stone of Jefferson, maternal grandmother Mary Baker of Hagerstown, paternal grandparents Maurice and Linda Stone of Hagerstown and Betty and Dennis Crown of Urbana as well as a nephew Michael Godwin, III. He will also be remembered by his long time love Heather Rice. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Sunday, August 19, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where services will be held Monday, August 20, at 11:00 am with Pastor Joseph Sheedy officiating. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
