Evelyn M. (Desrosiers) Sullivan, 81, of Westport, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital. She was the wife of the late James M. Sullivan, Jr.

Mrs. Sullivan was born in Fall River, daughter of the late Leodore and Loretta (Couture) Desrosiers and had been a lifelong resident of Westport. Prior to her retirement, she worked at a curtain factory in Fall River for 8 years and then went on to work in security for the former Ann & Hope, Dartmouth for 13 years until it closed. Following retirement, she began taking care of her then 6 week old granddaughter, which to date was her biggest and most treasured job. She had been a communicant of Our lady of Grace Church, Westport. Mrs. Sullivan was happiest being at her home and because of her ability to talk to anyone, was considered a social butterfly.

She is survived by her daughter: Kathleen A. Menard and her husband Gerald of Westport; her sister: Rita Vieira and her husband Richard of Tiverton; brother-in-law: Michael Daly of Marlborough; her granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Madeline Daly, Lorraine Heap and Leo Desrosiers.
