Rodney Keith Petty, 43, of Vaiden, died in an auto accident on Highway 430 south of Vaiden Wednesday, November 19, 1997. Mr. Petty, a self-employed welder, was a Baptist.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 21st, at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Leon Holly officiating. Burial was in Winona Garden of Memory.
Mr. Petty is survived by his parents; Ralph and Opal Holly Petty of Vaiden; one sister, Cindy Lacey of Vaiden; two brothers, Gary Ralph Petty of Greenville, Gregory Gene Petty of Vaiden: three nieces and five nephews.
Pallbearers were David Burkett, Roy Mitchell, Solomon Smith, Steve Armstrong, Bill Brooks, and Dewey Welch.
Oliver Funeral Home of Winona was in charge of arrangements.
