Roman S Beachy, 85, died April 3, 2017 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson. He was born December 19, 1931 in Hutchinson, the son of Samuel and Nettie Miller Beachy.
A lifetime area resident, he was a dairy farmer and a member of the Amish Church. On December 19, 1957, he married Wilma Borntrager. She survives.
Other survivors include; Sons Steven (Marcia) Beachy, William (Esther) Beachy, a daughter Carolyn (David Wayne) Yoder, all of Hutchinson; beloved grandchildren Sarah (Andrew) Egli, Tyler (friend Kandace), Jon, Jed (fiancé Hailey) Beachy, Malinda, Silas, Joel Beachy, Jennifer, Kristen (Jared), Megan Yoder; Great grandchildren Ellie, Lucy, Jacob Egli, Axel Yoder; Sisters Sadie Nisly, Katie Yoder, brother Harley(Susie), brother-in-law Willis Miller, sister-in-law Katie Beachy. He was preceded in death by a son, Leon Beachy; 5 brothers and 2 sisters; Melvin, Eli, Alvin, Leslie, Samuel Jr., Susie Miller, Verna Schrock.
Funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 6, 2017 at the Amish Community Building, 5917 W Mills Ave. Hutchinson.
Visitation is 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday April 5, 2017, also at the Amish Community Building.
Burial will be in the Amish Community Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to Christian Aid Ministries in care of Ott Funeral Home.
