Services for Frederick I. Phillips. 63, of Phoenix who died recently at Veterans Administration Hospital Syracuse, after a long illness were held it Foster Funeral Home, the Rev. Robert W Bird Officiating. Burial was in Roosevelt Cemetery Schroeppel. Mr. Phillips was a native of Central Square who lived in the Phoenix area most of his life. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5540 Phoenix. He was a life member ot the Lock Stock and Barrel Muzzleloader Club. He was a retired logger, and carpenter. He enjoyed outdoor sports and made snowshoes. Surviving are his wife, Virginia Munger, three sons David, William and Raymond all of Fulton, four daughters Charlotte L. Rahrle of Central Square, Mary J. Collins of Hannibal, and Helen D Shortt and Elizabeth Terramiggi.
