Frank S. Holbert, Jr., 82, formerly of Independence and Sycamore, Kansas passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center, ER.
Frank was born June 18, 1925 in Missouri to Frank Holbert, Sr. and Gladys (Elliott) Holbert. Frank married Marie M. (Koronias) Huff on January 15, 1973 in Miami, Oklahoma. They resided in rural Sycamore where they farmed until 1980 when they moved to Independence.
There are no survivors, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marie; his parents and 8 brothers.
Cremation will take place under the direction of the Penwell-Gabel Webb Rodrick Funeral Home and Crematory of Independence. No services are planned. Inurnment will take place at the Mount Hope Cemetery in the family plot.
