Aubrey T. Davis, 42 years old, former bookkeeper at the First National Bank, died of pneumonia at 7:30 o'clock Monday night at St. Joseph Hill Infirmary at Eureka, where he had been a patient for two years.
Funeral services have not definitely been arranged, but will be held Thursday afternoon at the Walther Funeral Home. Mr. Davis was born Jan. 14. 1900, in Fruitland, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Davis. He completed high school there and then came to Cape Girardeau where he attended Cape Girardeau Business College. When ill-health prevented his continuation there he became a salesman of bank supplies for the Baker-Vawter concern.
He lived on Bend Road for a time and was in California for three years for his health. Before going to Eureka, he lived with a sister, Mrs. Harold Reiker.
Mr. Davis is survived by a daughter, Miss Wanda Lee Davis of Malvern, Ark., a brother, Clayton Davis of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Mrs. Reiker and Mrs. James Craig Kinder.
