She was a Godly woman with a servant’s heart. She was a life member of the Salvation Army. She served as the Corps Sgt. Major of the Danville Corps for nearly 5 decades. She was employed by King’s Department Store and at Belk Leggett. She also worked for the Danville Police Dept. for 63 years as a school crossing guard at Forest Hills Elementary School.
She is survived by her 5 children, Clarence Adams (Mary), Bobby Adams (Libby), Wanda Henderson (Gene), Tommy Adams and Dennis Adams; 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at Schoolfield Cemetery.
