Frank T. Clayton, Jr.

Gloucester City - On February 5, 2021. Age 90.

Born in Atlantic City, NJ he was the son of the late Frank T., Sr. and Ann V. (Lord) Clayton. Frank is survived by his brother, Harry W. Clayton, Sr., sister, Nancy Clayton, many nieces and nephews as well as many close friends through the years.

Frank was a decorated combat veteran who proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was also a long-time volunteer firefighter and fire policeman with the Gloucester City Fire Company and was a life member of the VFW Post 3620 in Gloucester City. He later worked with Benton Tire in Pennsauken, NJ. for several years as a tire technician before his retirement.

Frank's interment will be held privately in the B.G. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ. A memorial service will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 from 4 to 7:00 pm at the Pine Grove Association, 827 Jersey Avenue (corner of 8th Street and Jersey Avenue), Gloucester City, NJ.
