Sue was born March 18, 1949, in Adams Center to Carlton and Ruth Turner Lucas and attended a two-room school house in Barnes Corners until the 6th grade and graduated from Lowville Academy in 1967.
She was married to Jack T. Bush on August 5, 1967, in St. Peter's Catholic Church, Lowville with Msgr. Thomas Hayes and Rev. John Hayes, uncles of Jack's, officiating. Prior to living in Brantingham, the couple made their home in Lowville for many years.
Sue was office manager for Louis Bush & Sons. She was an active member of the Lewis County General Hospital Auxiliary helping with the Holliberry Sale and being in charge of the Geranium sale. She also enjoyed golf and spending time with her granddaughters.
In addition to her husband Jack and mother Ruth of Rodman, Sue is survived by their three sons, Timothy N. (Janice) of Lowville, Michael R. and his companion, Pauline Larche of Brantingham and Ryan L. (Kim) of Manlius ; her siblings, Linda (Rob) Sharlow of Wesley Island, Joanne Lucas of Rodman, Russell Lucas and Rick (Sue) Lucas all of Barnes Corners, Randal (Teresa) Lucas of Adams Center, Lori (Dan) Vincent of Barnes Corners, Jeff (Brandy) Lucas of Adams Center and Eric (Angie) Lucas of Green Castle, PA; her granddaughters, Morgan, Tasha, Mia, Evelyn and Maren.
She was predeceased by her father, Carlton and brother Rodney Lucas.
Burial will be in Brantingham.
