Vivien Leigh Ross, 80, beloved wife of Sherman O. Ross, passed away February 4, 2021 in Hixson, TN.

Vivien was daughter of the late Ellis A. Kittrell and Mary Ellen Kittrell Gliesman of Sevierville, TN. She was a proud mother to Kelly Coffelt (husband, John Coffelt), and grandmother to her grandchildren, Kate, Ellis, and Carter Coffelt. Vivien lived most of her life in East Tennessee where she and Sherman owned the BookHeaven Bookstore in Sevierville, TN before they retired. She was a proud graduate of Knoxville Catholic High School, and attended UT Knoxville and UTC. She loved theater and could be found both on stage and behind stage at The Carousel Theatre in Knoxville, the Backstage Theatre, and Chattanooga Little Theater (now CTC) in Chattanooga. For many years she worked in advertising in Chattanooga and Knoxville as a copywriter, director, and media buyer. She was an avid nature lover and traveler. She loved exploring the Smokey Mountains and cruising around with the top down.

She will also be sadly missed by her sister, Konnie Kittrell; niece, Rachel Kittrell, Hadrian Kittrell, Konnor, and Ryleigh Ogle.

Vivien leaves us with her love of theater, books, animals, exploration, and family.

The family will announce a memorial service at a later date.
