Paul “Dave” Powers, 71, of Geneseo, IL, passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021, at Unitypoint Health – Trinity Hospital, Rock Island, IL.
Paul was born on July 11, 1949, the son of Wally and Bertha (Heller), in Geneseo, IL. He graduated from Geneseo High School. He was employed by Illini Beef Packers, Inc. until his retirement. He married Ruth Hawkins in a service held on April 23, 1993. She preceded him in death on December 11, 2004. Paul was an avid Geneseo football fan. He loved watching the Loraine softball team, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Those left to cherish his memory include his a daughter, a son; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wally and Bertha
