Capt. Thomas Stoughton, 3rd, s. of Ens. Thomas Stoughton, Jr. and Mary Wadsworth, b. of record Nov. 21, 1662 at Windsor, Conn. where he d. "Jan. 14, 1748/49" [Windsor TR], Æ 87.

On Dec. 31, 1691 of record at Windsor, Conn., Thomas m. 1) Dorothy Talcott, dau. of Col. John Talcott, Jr. and Helena Wakeman, b. Feb. 20, 1666/7 at Hartford, Conn. She d. May 28, 1696 at Windsor. They had one child, dau. Mary, b. Jan. 4, 1692/3 at Windsor, who m. Peletiah Allyn Aug. 26, 1711 at Windsor.

On May 19, 1697 of record at Hartford, Conn., Thomas m. 2) Abigail Edwards, dau. of Richard Edwards and Elizabeth Tuttle, and widow of Benjamin Lothrop, b. circa 1671 at Hartford, Conn. She d. per Jacobus in "Hale, House..." on Jan. 23, 1754 at Windsor, although there is no vital record at Windsor stating as such. They had ten children of record at Windsor: Thomas, Daniel, Benjamin, Timothy, Abigail, David, Mabel, Jonathan, Elizabeth, and Isaac.
