Deloris Irene (Bailey) O'Grady, 75, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021 at her home in Cimarron, Ks. She was born October 11, 1946 at Beaver, Oklahoma the daughter of Barney Bailey and Alta Maxine (Maphet/Bailey) Herron. She enjoyed spending time with family and arts and crafts, especially woodburning and scroll sawing.
On February 14, 1966 she married Lary "Bud" O'Grady at Cimarron, KS.
She is survived by husband of 55 years, Bud; 2 daughters, Brenda Gillespie and Bonnie (Jim) Simmons both of Wichita, Ks.; 1 son, Pat (Kim) O'Grady of Cimarron, KS.; 2 brothers, Allen (Janey) Bailey of Windom, KS, and Wayne (Cathy) Herron of Jetmore, KS, and 1 sister, Elaine Marcotte of Sedgwick, KS.; 7 grandchildren, Matthew Stranghaner of Seymore, Tennessee, Corey (Tasha) Blanchett of Dodge City, Ks., Lary O'Grady of Cimarron, KS., Crysta (Vinny) Stella of Wright, KS., Damon (Hope) Simmons of Hugoton, KS. Dante (Emi) Simmons of Derby, KS. and 6 great grandchildren, Harley Blanchett of Dodge City, KS. Savannah and Madison Stella of Wright, KS., Karrodi Major of Bucklin, KS., Alric and Fitz Simmons of Hugoton and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Gary Bailey.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Cremation took place.
