1966 ~ 2021 (age 54) funeral service held at Parson Mortuary in Muncie, IN, on Wednesday, Feb. 17th, at 1:00 pm, under the direction of Parson Mortuary and Cremation Center, Muncie, Indiana.
Scott attended the Church of Christ in Christian Union in his youth and graduated from Muncie Southside High School. He spent time in Tucson, AZ, before beginning his 30-plus year career in construction and contracting. Scott enjoyed traveling and he visited many places across our great country, including Texas, New York, Florida, North and South Carolina, Louisiana, Colorado, Nevada, California and Hawaii. Scott was an athlete who enjoyed all sports and he went skydiving, parasailing with his son, Kyle, and he played golf regularly with friends and family.
Scott is preceded in death by his mother, Janet Sue (Finchum) Cooper, his grandmothers, Cleta Bea Finchum and Lucy Phillips, and his grandfathers, James Finchum and Edward Cooper.

Now missing Scott are his wife of 16 years, Sheila; his father, Ronald Cooper; his son, Kyle; his stepsons Brandon Quire and Austin Quire; his mother-in-law, Judy Wallace; his sister, Leslie Ann (Cooper) Puckett; his sisters-in-law, Denise Winningham and Trisha Miller; his brothers-in-law, John Puckett and Dan Winningham; and several nieces and nephews, along with many true friends.
