She was born in Pike County, Kentucky on September 27, 1946 to Ray and Vernia (nee Bowens) Simpson. Eileen went to college to be a hairdresser and worked for Fiesta on Colerain Ave.. Eileen shared so many special memories with her family and they will never watch "Little House on the Prairie and not think of Eileen. It was one of her favorite shows to watch. When Eileen visited Florida with her family, she would look at the beautiful beach and say "God made all of this and it's so beautiful." She loved being outside and enjoying God's beauty. Eileen could never resist a good Reese's Cup. Some fun sayings that will live on with Eileen's memory are "Kickin but not to high" and "Hanging in and on." If you knew Eileen, you also knew she had a strong love of gospel music and traveling home to Allegheny for visits with her family and sitting on the porch swing.
