Mildred L. Phillips, 86, of Milroy, passed away, Thursday afternoon, Feb. 11, 2021, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital. Born March 19, 1934 in Milroy, she was a daughter of the late Samuel W. and Rosie B. (Gilbert) Himes. Surviving are: children, Brenda Callahan of Lewistown, Susan Briggs and husband Gerald of Milroy, Richard W. Phillips, Jr. of Burnham; siblings, Ruth Horn of Mifflintown, Pamela Haines of Reedsville, David E. Himes, John R. Himes, Dennis K. Homes all of Milroy; grandchildren, Jesse, Melanie, Amy, Christine; great grandchildren, Mazy, Philip, Megan, Paitin, Autumn, Wyatt, Ellee; step great grandchildren, Madison and Gabe. She was preceded in death by brothers, Larry L. Himes, James W. Himes, Samuel W. Himes and a sister, June Fickes.

She had retired from Fisher Electronics, Milroy. She was a long time member of Kish Valley Grace Brethren Church, Reedsville. She enjoyed cooking, her favorite place to be was in the kitchen. She also enjoyed playing cards with her next door neighbor Roxanne.

Private graveside services at Church Hill Cemetery, Reedsville, will be held at the convenience of the family, with Pastor Doug Sabin officiating.
