BAKER, NICHOLAS T., age 21, of 172 High Street, Bristol, died Monday, April 23, 2007 at his home.

Born in Boston, MA and a lifelong resident of Bristol, he was the son of Timothy W. Baker of Westford, MA and Elizabeth P. (Peloquin) Baker of Bristol.

Nicholas was an E.M.T. for the Alert Ambulance Company for the past year. He was currently enrolled in a Paramedic Program. He was a graduate of Mt. Hope High School, Class of 2004. He was a volunteer with the Bristol Fire Department, a member of the Dreadnaught Hook, Ladder and Hose Co. No. 1 and the Bristol Rescue Squad. An Eagle Scout, he was a member of Troop 2 Bristol, he had a great love of the outdoors and a respect for our environment. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and a member of the Bristol Train of Artillery.

In addition to his father and mother, he is survived by a step mother, Tamera L. Baker of Westford, MA, his paternal grandfather, William J. Baker of New Bern, NC, his maternal grandparents, Arthur A. and Angela B. (Bruno) Peloquin, both of Bristol, two sisters, several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Joyce E. (Bevans) Baker.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Friday, April 27, 2007 at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State St., Bristol. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made to the Bristol Fire Department and Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 775, Bristol, RI 02809.
