BIRD, Carol A. - Of Flushing, age 95, died Monday, November 14, 2005 at home. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends and family at their home on Sunday, November 20, 2005 from 2-4PM. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to McLaren Hospice. Mr. Bird was born in Lansing, MI, February 10, 1910, the son of Silas and Harriett (Hempstead) Bird. He married Audrey D. Brown in Flushing, MI on June 25, 1938. Mr. Bird was employed by Buick Motor Division for 43 years, retiring in 1975. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Surviving are: wife of 67 years, Audrey D. Bird of Flushing; 3 children, Janice and husband Richard Henry of Milford, Rodger and wife Marilyn Bird of Belleview, WA, Jaclyn and husband Carl Allen of Friendswood, TX; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
