Marvin LeRoy Anderson Sr., 82, of Aliquippa, passed away Tuesday February 9, 2021, at Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver.

Born June 2, 1939, in New Brighton Pa, he was the son of the late George Sr. and Ethel (Crawford) Anderson.

He served his country and was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corp.

He worked security at the White House during JFK's administration.

He was a Baptist by faith and was an avid Steelers fan. Most of all, he loved his family and adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving is his wife, Hattie (Walker) Anderson of 58 wonderful years of marriage, his children, Colvin Anderson, Tonya Johnson, Marvina Anderson, and Marvin (Kim) Anderson Jr.; grandchildren, Kiana, Shavhan, Sylvester, Tiesha, Tytiana, Silkena, Se'Lah, and Marvin III; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, George M. Anderson Jr; sister, Abbie Carter; Sisters-in-law Nora (John) Spears, Sallie Walker, devoted friends, Bobby Thomas and Leonard Newman; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Marvin L. Anderson Sr. was proceeded in death by one brother Clinton Anderson, brother-in-law Frank Walker, and two sisters Betty Carter and Gertrude Robinson.

Private family services will be held. Followed by interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Aliquippa.

Arrangements have been entrusted to J&J Spratt Funeral Home, Inc.
