Theodore F. “TP”, “Ted" Patterson, age 75 of Gordonville, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at his home. He was the husband of Cheryl Dodson Patterson with whom he celebrated 56 years of marriage on June 6th. Born in Atglen, he was the son of the late John A. and Ella Powers Patterson. He and his wife were members at Mt. Eden Evangelical Lutheran Church in Quarryville. Ted was a graduate of Octorara High School and went on to be a truck driver until he retired at Stock Building Supply. During his retirement, he provided transportation to the Amish community. In his free time, he loved collecting John Deere tractors and Hess trucks, doing puzzles, and mowing his yard. Surviving besides his wife is a daughter: Cynthia L. “Cindy” Patterson of New Providence, 4 grandchildren, and 3 siblings: Janet wife of John Somerday of Atglen, Patsy Groff of Kinzers, and Robert Patterson of Atglen. He was preceded in death by a son, Theodore “Teddy” Patterson, Jr.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Shivery Funeral Home, P.O. Box 62, Paradise, PA 17562, to assist the family with funeral expenses.
