She is survived by one sister, Rita (Haug) Hammes of Wichita; six children: Beverly Rowe, James (Judy) Rowe, Gary Rowe and Janet Hardin all of Wichita; Glenda (Matt) Wheeler of Hays; David Hardin of Wellington.

"Rene", "Gram", "Tiny", and Grandma as she was known as, was blessed with 10 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren, Jamie and Chris (Jenna) of Lawrence; Steven (Benjamin BreAna, McCartni, Henli, Dakota); Jesse, Faith; Matt; Alexandra (Royalty and AllieAna) Jaiara, Ala'zae, Corey'on, Shantazia, Cloise; Ayla; Curtis and Vanessa (Lennon, Zachary, Fabi, Carly, Ian, Natalie, Taylor); and Dylan all of Wichita; Blake of Hays; Angie and Tim (Katelyn, Andrew, Maddie, Liam) of Goddard; and her past sons - in - law, Greg T., Scott H., and Mike T.; and her dog, Pipper.

Rene "Gram" was raised on a farm and worked hard her entire life caring for her family. She was a housewife and enjoyed keeping up with the daily news and politics by reading the newspaper and listening to Paul Harvey on the radio. When she wasn't taking care of her family or cooking, you would find her in the garden, she had a amazing green thumb. She enjoyed going out to eat Chinese food, going to garage sales and shopping at thrift stores. She was proud of her long red auburn hair, before she left the house she would always brush it and gather it neatly in a metal barrette and put on her pink lipstick, Even on her last day on earth she still had her beautiful long red auburn hair. She collected and believed in Angels, but to her family she was always their Angel on earth. Until we meet again, know we all love and already miss you. We love you mom and gram.

Private family services previously held.

Note: The other obituary has Dylan living in California, he was living in Wichita, Kansas. The other grandchildren listed have been moved down with the other grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
