She graduated from Lockney High School and worked as the manager of an employment agency for many years. Her love of animals was a great joy in her life.
She is survived by two sons, Lonnie Brown, his wife Cindy, their daughters Kendra, Breanna, Jessica and Cassandra, all of Lubbock; and Shane Boedecker, wife Shauna, daughter Morgan and sons Kade and Garrett of Dallas. She is also survived by sisters, Janette Workman and her husband David of Christoval; Sallie Brock and Ronnie Morris of Clovis, N.M.; a brother, Bill Dodson and his wife Shelley of Amarillo; and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, in First United Methodist Church in Lockney with the Rev. Kyle Brock officiating. The family request memorials to the Muscular Dystrophy Society. Arrangements are with Johnson's Funeral Home, 435 W. Beauregard, San Angelo, TX 76903.
