Kenneth “ Kermit” Lee Reeder, age 53, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021 at his home in Conroe, Texas.

Kenneth was born on November 16, 1967 in Houston, Texas to parents, Michael Ray Reeder Sr. and Judy Garland Fowler Keith. He was preceded in death by his partner, David Linden; stepmother, Tina Reeder; sister, Sheila Reeder Froehlich; brother-in-law, Craig Froehlich; and closest friend, Sandy Jean.

Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Brittney Lee Hawke and grandchildren; his mother, Judy Keith; his father, Michael Reeder Sr.; sisters: Clara “Angie” Reeder, and Lynn Gehring and her husband, Shannon Gehring; brothers, Michael Reeder Jr., Daniel Reeder and wife Savannah Reeder, Vince Reeder and fiancé Erika Maida; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, other family members and friends.

Kenneth was the jokester of the family. Anytime you saw him, he had a new "Little Johnny" joke to tell you, and they were not always appropriate. He loved animals, especially dogs. We still don’t know how exactly Kenneth got the nickname Kermit, but it has stuck with him for all these years. He didn’t have an easy life, but he lived each day to it's fullest. He always was in a good mood, and you couldn’t help but laugh when around him.

Kenneth was very much loved by all of his family, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral service will be Thursday, February 11th 2021 at 2:00 p.m., at McNutt Funeral Home, followed by cremation.
