John H. Buchanan, 77, of Ryland Heights, died Thursday at his residence.
He was a supervisor retired from the United States Department of Defense, an Army veteran of the Korean War, and a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, Ryland Heights, and the Ryland Lakes Country Club.
Survivors include his wife, Carole S. Waltz Buchanan; a son, Eric J. Buchanan of Dayton, Ohio; daughters, Lynn A. Snyder of Liberty Township, Ohio, and Ellen McDonough of Denver, Colo.; a sister, Martha Molder of Rocky Mount, N.C.; and one grandchild.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Erlanger United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Linnemann Funeral Home, Erlanger. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Erlanger.
Memorials are suggested to the National Parkinson Foundation Inc., Office of Development, 1501 NW 9th Ave./ Bob Hope Road, Miami, Fla. 33136-1494.
