Obituary of Edith B. Graves

Edith B. Graves (Eydie), 77 of Moore OK died peacefully in her sleep from ovarian cancer on Thursday, February 4, 2021.

Eydie was born in Norwich NY on August 11, 1943 to Elmo and Margaret (Sayles) Burdick and was raised in Beaver Meadow NY.

She is survived by her three children:
Debbie (Ray) Figary of Lebanon OH,
Donna (James Crisp) Diaz of Moore OK, and
Ronald (Megan) Law of Baldwinsville NY;
seven grandchildren: Olivia Figary, William (Melanie) Figary, Kyra Diaz, Natalya Diaz, Nicholas Law, Madison Law and Mackenzie Law;
and one great grandchild: Andre Diaz Arena.
She is also survived by her sister Jane (Dennis) Schlossman of Denver NC.

Eydie graduated from Norwich High School in June 1961 and worked at the Norwich Shoe Factory. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and sang in the choir.

She was married to Arthur R. Law of Smyrna NY from August 1964 to October 1978.

In May 1982, Eydie married Mark A. Graves and in 1984 they moved to Clovis NM.
In 1985 they moved to Misawa Japan, returning to the states in 1989.

Eydie lived in different parts of Texas for the next 26 years, working for the Wells Fargo bank and Tom Thumb grocery store before retiring and moving to Lebanon OH in 2015. In 2020 she moved to Moore OK.

Eydie was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and active church member throughout her life. She was a talented seamstress, loved animals, puzzles, Chinese and Mexican food, and was an avid reader of Charles Stanley, Westerns, and Amish fiction.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Behe Funeral Home Inc, Oxford, NY.

A celebration of her life will be hosted in the summer of 2021 with interment at Southside Cemetery in Plymouth NY.
