Patricia Gail Hawkins, 84, of Washington, formerly of Shoals, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2021.

Patricia was born in Daviess County on Sept. 22, 1936, to the late Frank and Thelma Roark. she was a devoted wife and was married to the late Alton Hawkins on Oct. 19, 1959. Patricia was a loving mother and enjoyed her children as well as others, as she was a bus driver for many years and a teacher. She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church and she lived her life for the Lord.

Patricia leaves behind her loving son, Micah Hawkins; brother, Paul(Alice)Roark; nieces and nephews, Rick Hawkins, Troy Roark, Tim Roark, Phil Hawkins, Tim Hawkins, Sondra Emery, Toni Craney, Joni Blaker and Brian Hawkins; and many great-nieces and nephews.

There will be a visitation held Saturday, Feb. 13, 2021, from 10 a.m. until noon at gill funeral home, with a celebration of life immediately following at noon, also at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Hamline Chapel Cemetery 9034 E. Hamline Chapel Road, Monroe City.
