Catherine was the widow of Louis C. Chapman. Known as 'Cat' growing up by siblings and friends and 'Mimi' by children and grandchildren.
Catherine was a member of Hernando Baptist Church, and Fellowship Baptist Church.
Catherine is survived by son, Stanley Chapman, daughter, Sheila Latham (John), grandchildren; Ashley Finch, and William Chapman, great-grandchildren Kyler Chapman and Noah Coop, brother, Gene Welch (Deanna), Sisters; Frances Jenne (Hank), and Becky Murphy.
Grave side services were held on February 24, 2021, at Forest Hill Cemetery South.
