Obituary:
Marion Dwayne Evans was born on August 4, 1963 to the late Charlie Evans, Jr. and Annie Lou Evans in Murfreesboro, TN. His journey ended February 6, 2021 after an extended illness.

Marion was preceded in death by his brothers; Michael, Kenneth "Jumbo" Evans and nephew, Dimitrio Humes. Love, as everyone called him, was a very kind and caring man.

He graduated from Holloway High in 1982. He worked at Better Built until a work related injury caused him to have to be on disability.

Love was a dedicated and faithful member of Prosperity
Missionary Baptist Church. He loved to fish, dance, blues music, going to the casino, grill, and was a true Washington Redskins fan. He didn't care that they were changing their name; he said they would always be Redskins to him.

Love always advised people to get help with their problems but when it came down to him it was always "I'm fine, no help needed." Love was dependable, hard working, and a dedicated father to his son, Cameron C. Evans.

Love will always be remembered by his mother, Annie Evans:, son, Cameron C. Evans; siblings: Irish Humes, Charles "Bubba" Evans and Jeffrey {Margaret} Evans; nieces: Yoakka and Yaterria Evans; nephew, Dearick Evans. Love also leaves devoted friends: Lee Andrew "Pappy" Summerour, Demont "Smurf" Smith, and Larry "Uncle La La" Johnson.

In efforts to be in compliance with the regulations of the CDC guidelines, mask are required upon entry of the building and temperatures will be checked at the door. This is for the safety of our community as well as our funeral home staff.
