On February 3, 2021 Mrs. Mary Lee Hadley age 91, answered to the call of her Heavenly Father who bid her come; for the battle has been fought and the victory won. She was a lifelong resident of Alachua County who grew up and lived in the Porters, East Gainesville, and the Lincoln Estates Communities. She was the 5th child of 6 children who all preceded her in death. Mary Lee accepted Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior at an early age. She received her early education in the public school system of Alachua County. Mary Lee was a home maker who cared deeply for her family friends and neighbors. Her life of service, friendship, and commitment to others was unwavering. Mary Lee loved flowers and had a green thumb. In her leisure time she enjoyed gardening and planting flowers.

She was preceded in death by her son Charlie Hadley Jr. Mrs. Hadley is survived by her devoted husband of 73 years Charlie ‘Dotson’, loving children, Barbara Cue (Collist), Bobby Hadley Sr., daughter-in-law Ann; six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, sisters-in-law Willie Mae Henry, Lillie P. Henry Lewis; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives’ and sorrowing friends.
