George Moss, 93, of Bett, MS passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at his residence. He was a fireman for the City of Memphis for 25 years. He was also a veteran having served in the Navy and a retired minister.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eula Lorene Geeslin Moss; son, Jerry W. Moss; parents, Jesse and Leola Moss; sisters, Naoma, Margie, Jean, and Pat; brothers, Jesse, Delbert, and Ronnie; grandchild, Corey Moss and one great grandchild. He is survived by his daughter, Edith Moss Busby Hubbard (Robert) of Coldwater, MS; sons, Danny Moss (Patricia Meredith) of Bett, MS and Kenneth Burton Moss (Scott Whalen) of Davenport, FL; brother, Wayne Moss (Carol) of Birch Run, MI; grandchildren, Chuck Busby, Cindy Penn, Jason Moss, Jennifer Blalock, Jerry Moss, Jr., Julie Valsamos, and Lisette Moss; 13 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
