Robert Benson Simon, age 82, of La Vergne, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. Mr. Simon was the son of the late Slater and Ruth Benson Simon. He is survived by his daughters, Kendra Dand and her husband Lucas and Carol Simon; son, Bobby Simon and his wife Meagan; brother, Slater Simon and his wife Shirley and James "Larry" Simon; grandchildren, Rylan, Noah, Olivia, Kinsey, Penelope, Judah and Hatcher Dand, Destiny, Keona and Zariah Simon and Bobby “Trey”, Oliver and Jaxon Simon. Graveside services to celebrate Mr. Simon will be at Three O’clock the afternoon of Friday, February 5, 2021 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Simon served his country in the United States Army. He served his community of La Vergne by serving on numerous committees and commissions, along with supporting numerous youth programs. Due to the current health situation, we will “Live Stream” the graveside service on our Facebook page, Roselawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens- Murfreesboro, TN.
