Nina Marie Pauley Davis Brown, 55, of Charleston, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 5, 2021.
She was born on May 29, 1965, in Virginia Beach, VA, to the late Bill and Mae Oma Pauley.
Nina was a very well loved woman by many. She loved her grandchildren dearly. If driving by her house you would be sure to find Nina sitting on her porch with a cup of coffee and her two very loved dogs, Keo and Rello. She loved the outdoors and her family with a passion.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Pauley II; sister, Shirley Bryant; and nephew, Joshua Pauley.
Nina is survived by her husband, Roger Brown Sr.; sons, Roger Brown II and wife Kiesha and his ex-wife Raina, Cecil Davis and his girlfriend, Brittany and ex-wife Tia; sister, Janet Turley and husband Ronnie; grandchildren, Jazzlena Davis-Turley, Alicia Davis-Turley, Khloe Davis-Turley, Aubrey Bailey, Nolan Bailey, Larina Brown, Treavon Brown, Dwayne Brown, Za’Ryah Brown; nephews, Gary Carrier III, Billie Pauley III and wife Kim, Nick Bryant, Billie Bryant and Richie Thaxton; nieces, Jessica Carrier, Elizabeth Turley; aunt, Gladys Gore; best friends, Tia Streater, Keith Wilt; companion, Debbie Choice; and her adopted son, James Castle.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 16, in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar, with Pastor Charles Shelton officiating.
