Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Anthony Silva and the late Clara (Mitchell) Ciampanelli.
She leaves a daughter Alyssa M Lang and her husband Michael, grandchildren Landyn and Luca, sister Theresa Silva along with her father Anthony Silva. She was the sister of the late Anthony and Ronald Silva.
Her career in management with Metropolitan Life insurance spanned well over 30 years. Cheryl took great pride and pleasure in her retirement pastime of knitting. She loved spending time with her knitting circle of friends and talked often of their adventures in New York City. Her family and friends were frequently gifted with her talent! Her knitted socks and scarfs are plentiful throughout the family! She enjoyed time in Florida every year with family and friends. Most of all she loved spending time with her cherished grandchildren Landyn and Luca. She loved reading to Landyn and playing games. She was devoted to her family and friends and will be sorely missed.
Her funeral and burial were private.
